The March house price statistics released by Toronto Real Estate Board indicate that the housing market in Pickering is hot, hot, hot.

Maybe a few of the recent newspaper articles stating that Pickering is the place to be for affordable housing has impacted what has been happening to the market.  In March the average price of a home jumped from $298,089 in 2009 to $362,433 in 2010.  That's an incredible increase of over $60,000 or over 21%.
